Upgrade the efficiency of your wind farm

The CarboCAT 25 Wind Farm Service Vessel is the first vessel designed from the ground up to meet the demands of servicing offshore wind farms. It gives you both the speed to service turbines far from shore and the size and stability to operate safely and efficiently. It does this without increasing its weight to a level that could damage the turbines while reducing fuel consumption by 20% compared to an equivalent aluminium boat.

Faster, safer transfers

The forward part of the vessel facilitates the quick transfer of cargo and service personnel to offshore structures. With plenty of deck space, an exceptionally stable platform and the structural strength to carry heavy equipment, your vessel can be outfitted with the ideal transfer solution. These same advantages make future upgrades possible when new equipment innovations become available.

CarboCAT WFSV's lightness and stability also allow for greater precision in positioning the vessel. And being extra stable and precise not only makes transfers safer, but more efficient.

The large, sheltered cargo deck leaves space for the crew to work while shielding them from the elements. A large crane in the forward part of the deck makes the CarboCAT WFSV partly independent of external lifting facilities.

More passengers, less downtime

The main cabin seats 24 passengers. Being able to carry more passengers than a standard service vessel means you make more transfers per trip and have less downtime while at sea. There are also two crew cabins with double bunks and restroom facilities.

The CarboCAT WFSV is also a good match for servicing wind farms in that it is a more environmentally friendly option, reducing CO2 output by 20% compared to aluminium boats.
